Chipper and Operator hire - Our chipper can be hired on a hourly basis and will be run for you by one of our trained operators. This services is particularly useful for the end of season pruning sessions in larger gardens and will save you trips to the tip. Please contact me for rates.
Chainsaw and operator hire - Do you have a large quantity of logs that need reducing in size for burning? You could spend days swinging an axe or give me a call, you might be surprised at the rates you are quoted.
Logs for sale - Throughout the year we have logs for sale. Most go to people with log burning stoves or open fires but I have serviced requests for large sections of tree for garden features and woodcarving.
Woodchip and mulch for sale - Again available throughout the year. This is not the decorative wood bark you can buy at B&Q but is ideal for improving the quality and drainage of gardens
Tree Preservation Order (TPO) consultation - At Stephenson Tree Services we have a good relationship with the local council tree officers and can assist customers with requests for work on trees covered by a TPO. This is not usually as daunting or complicated as you may expect though experience is invaluable.
Woodchip and mulch - Any chip that is not sold for domestic used is sent to the biomass power stations where it is burnt for conversion to power. This leaves the yard 27 tonnes at a time.
